The LI8020 is an ultra-high resolution CMOS sensor at 250 megapixels (19,568 x 12,588 pixels) in APS-H format (29.37mm x 18.90mm) with a 1.5µm pixel size, and all pixel progressive reading of 5fps.
RGB and Monochrome options are available.
Features
Ultra High Resolution
Approximately 125 times that of full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and approximately 30 times that of 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels)—allowing users to crop selected areas and digitally zoom to expand images while still retaining sufficiently high resolution.
Region of Interest (ROI)
Allows users to an arbitrary region to read from the sensor, reducing the amount of reading information and allowing for image capture at an increased framerate. Using this function, 8K (7680 x 4320 pixels) video can be captured at 24fps, 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 30fps and full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) at 60fps.
High Readout Speed
While delivering an incredibly high pixel count of approximately 250 million, features miniaturized circuitry and enhanced signal processing technology to achieve an ultra-high pixel readout speed of approximately 1,250 megapixels per second. This enables the sensors to realize ultra-high resolution image capture at up to approximately 5 frames per second (fps), even during full pixel readout.
